Did you know toilets actually use 59% more water than showers, 33% more than laundry and, 17 times more than baths, on an average daily basis?

With the high cost of water this past year, are you taking appropriate measures to conserve water usage? Homeowners and building owners are seeing savings and profits slip away with higher-than-expected water and sewer bill rates a rapid pace. They are looking for new ways to reduce these costs. Fortunately, the market provides water-efficiency products such as dual-flush toilets that can be purchased and installed with little or no additional front-end costs.

I think that small bathrooms can benefit from types of sinks, certainly. For larger bathrooms, I’d option for built in cabinetry of course.

I would also add a few other pointers.

1. If possible, keep plumbing in place. Moving water and drain lines will cost much more than if you integrate your new bathtub or vanity with the existing plumbing. This is especially true if you have a slab foundation.

2. Make sure you allow extra space when calculating the fit of your new items. Too many times, people try to fit a 72" clawfoot bathtub into a 72" "rough" space. Paneling, tile, hardy board, V-board etc, all take up space and forgetting to account for that will create a nightmare of returning items and readjusting your plans.

3. Give yourself extra time. If you think it will take 4 weeks, it will likely take 6, remodeling will almost always hit snags of some sort
along the way so make sure you are not trying to get your project done just in time for your Thanksgiving guests to enjoy.

Well said - especially the part about gathering all of your materials delivered and inspected before you begin construction. There's nothing worse than ripping out your old sink or toilet only to find out the new one was damaged in shipping and you're going to have to wait for a replacement to arrive.

I love these faucets. I've even seen them with different colors of lights so that it looks like the water is neon blue/green/red. I've also seen square models, but I think the round ones suit most contemporary bathrooms best.
