Shipping Charges & Methods
We offer free shipping to the United States and Canada. Rural Canadian shipments and Hawaii and Alaska shipping zones are subject to small additional fees. We ship all of our units by freight truck with a residential lift-gate.
After purchasing your steam shower, you will receive a receipt of your purchase. You will then receive an email with the tracking pro number and delivering carriers website for easy tracking of your shipment right to your door.
Our shipping service includes terrific packaging to keep your product in perfect condition when it arrives at your door. Our packaging not only has added cardboard and Styrofoam packing materials internally, but we also use top rugged crating for each and every unit to ensure safety when moving your cargo. Our damage ratio is less than 2% of our thousands of shipments per year which really speaks to the quality in packing materials and handling services. We also use the best shipping services available through a long process of trial and error we have found the best companies that really care for each and every product shipped.
Delivery is subject to delays due to unforeseen road hazards (ie snow storms) or weather conditions and BathroomGetaways.com cannot be held responsible for such delays. In the event the product you order has limited availability or is out of stock, we will IMMEDIATLEY notify you.
The steam showers, whirlpool bathtubs, bathroom vanities and sauna units are considered bulky items. Your items will be delivered by a single driver. Therefore, please make sure there is an able-bodied individual is available to help our delivery person unload the item(s).
Delivery & Scheduling
When your steam shower unit is delivered, the purchaser of the unit must be present for the delivery. Our shipping companies will give 24-48 hour notice prior to delivery. This enables you to make time in your schedule for a delivery that is convenient to you.
Package Inspection & Damage Claims
Upon arrival of shipment, all packages must be inspected for damages on site with the trucking company before the unit is signed for. If the package appears to be damaged, call us at 888-320-9947 immediately for instructions. We can advise whether the visible damages to the crates are detrimental to the units. Once the unit is signed for there is no way we can process the insurance claim with the Freight Company UNLESS, you sign noting "visible damages to the package". In the event that the unit arrives damaged and the entire shipment or parts of the shipment is refused we will replace the unit/parts upon availability of replacement unit or parts that are damaged. Please make sure you check that all items are present and free from any defects upon delivery and before signing the bill of lading. You must report any missing or damaged items to Bathroomgetaways.com within 72 hours of delivery so we can help resolve your situation. Take digital pictures of any damage and insure that the damage is noted on the bill of lading and signed by the driver.
Installation & Inspection
The unit must be installed by a licensed plumber and electrician, or it will void the warranty of the. The purchaser accepts full responsibility and liability for the products proper use, operation, and installation. Our units are not to be used for commercial purposes.
Important Customer Notes Regarding Scheduled Installs
You are advised not to book your plumber or carry out any preparatory work on your bathroom until your goods have arrived and been checked. Bathroomgetaways.com will not accept any liability for losses accruing from plumber or preparatory costs.
Inspection & Certification Notes
You are advised to speak with your local building inspector prior to purchasing any product from Bathroomgetaways.com certain jurisdictions require specific certifications on electrical and plumbing products. If you have any questions about the certifications required in your area give us a call and a qualified technician will assist you.
Terms Of Service & Use
The purchaser also agrees to hold harmless and indemnify us from any actions, lawsuits, judgments, liability claims arising from the use of any Bathroomgetaways.com’s product.
Cancellations & Returns
Bathroomgetaways.com will accept the cancellation and return of all item(s) returned within 7 days from the day after the product was delivered providing the item(s) are in perfect unused, re-saleable condition with the original sealed packaging. If packaging is unsealed it must be resealed. In the event where a refund is not due to faulty or misrepresented goods, the refund will cover the cost of the item only (minus a 15% restocking fee) and not include the cost of delivery to you the customer or back to our warehouse. The delivery cost as specified by our courier company will be confirmed with you and deducted from the price of the item(s). Refunds will be made within 14 working days once the goods have been returned to our warehouse. If you would like to make a return then please send your request in writing (by post, fax or email) to our Bathroomgetaways.com head office so we can resolve your request.
If your order is not in stock then a member of our sales team will contact you and give you a revised delivery date. At this point you have the option to withdraw the order if you are unable to wait.
All whirlpool bathtubs, steam showers and saunas carry a 5 year guarantee against defects. In the unlikely event that a defect develops in one of the parts then please contact our sales team who will arrange for a spare part to be delivered to you. Please note, Bathroomgetaways.com recommends that a trained engineer fit the spare part. Bathroomgetaways.com will not accept any liability regarding the installation of spare parts. Only the Oasis line of steam showers carries a 3-5 year warranty on the steam generator depending on the model.

The standard warranty for all our products is three years unless otherwise noted (Oasis Platinum line comes with a 5 year warranty).
To be in full compliance with the warranty, a licensed plumber and electrician must install the unit. Failure to do so could void the warranty.
This unit is meant for indoor use only. The warranty will become null and void if used outdoors.
Our standard warranty covers the following parts, all electrical wiring, heating units, accessories, and computer control panels that originally came with the unit. We guarantee that all our products are free of manufacturing and material defects. We will replace fixtures and parts if they are defective, not the complete unit, glass, or acrylic piece around the fixture/computer. Parts that become defective during the warranty period will be repaired or replaced. The purchaser is responsible for removing the defective parts and returning them to us for repair.
Damaged parts upon arrival will be replaced and shipped via Ground shipping. (if not signed for in good condition - please look at shipping terms). If the customer would like the shipment to be expedited, the customer must be responsible for the additional cost.
For replacement parts under warranty, customer is responsible for shipping.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by owner neglect, abuse, misuse, non-authorized modifications, incorrect installation, or wear and tear attributable to normal product use.
To properly invoke the warranty, the purchaser must possess a sales slip, invoice or delivery receipt, which indicates the date of product purchase.
We will always be here and help you get the parts (at cost) after the factory warranty expires.
We will not reimburse any labor costs arising from disassembling or reassembling the unit for replacement or defective purposes. We are also not responsible for routine maintenance, servicing or electrical alterations to the unit's controls.
Any parts that are claimed to be defective must be shipped back to us via a prepaid freight shipper. The parts must be accompanied by the original sales receipt or other sales proof of purchase information, as well as the sender's name, mailing address, daytime telephone number and other pertinent claim information. The repaired or replaced parts will be returned to the unit's owner by collect freight.
The five-year warranty only applies to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred, if sold. The warranty become void if the purchased unit is used for commercial, industrial or rental purposes. In addition, the warranty does not cover claims arising from product misuse, neglect, accidents, abuse, improper installation, or hazards of nature, including excessive exposure to heat or fire.
The purchaser is responsible for providing adequate access to the unit's computer, controls, and plumbing, if repairs need to be performed. The warranty does not cover injuries sustained by any person in the course of installing or repairing the unit.
All costs for removing and reinstalling purchased item (including freight charges) shall be at the purchaser's expense.
It is the customer's responsibility to check the package within 24 hours after the unit is delivered to insure there are no damages to the unit. This includes acrylic, glass, and aluminum parts. These parts are not covered after the 24 hours if the customer signed for the unit in good condition. Refer to the Shipping/Terms link for more information on the procedure to check your goods at the time of delivery.
We will not accept any returns/refunds after the unit has been assembled and/or used. If the customer needs a part, we will replace or repair the computerized part (does not included acrylic or glass pieces)
It is the customers responsibility to check if these units will comply with their state and county codes. If you will be receiving an inspection by a county inspector, please ask them what they require. If you do require an inspection, we recommend the Ameristeam units as they are compliant with ETL(UL) listings. Most Ariel Platinum units also comply with ETL (UL) marks in most states. If a customer purchases any steam shower unit or bathtub and it does not pass inspection, we allow returns with the following conditions below. You will be able to return the unit for the purchase price of unit, less the original shipping fee, return shipping fee, and less a restocking fee of 15% if in original packaging. If the shower unit or bathtub was opened, a 25% restocking fee will apply.
THERE SHALL BE NO WARRANTIES OR OBLIGATIONS (EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED HEREUNDER) SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED HEREIN. NO LIABILITY SHALL ACCRUE TO BathroomGetaways.com; EXCEPT AS SET FORTH WITHIN.
Please test all features and components prior to placing the unit in its final location. This is to make sure the unit is operating correctly. (Steam Generator, Whirlpool Pump, Keypad, Lights, Valves, Jets, ETC)
You must seal every seam on the unit.First, for every adjoining piece, place silicone on both adjoining pieces, then sandwich the pieces together and screw them together is applicable.(we recommend PolySeamSeal.com, which can be purchased at Home Depot) This creates a great seal and doesn’t allow any air or water to flow through if done correctly.After it is done drying, you would seal it again on the interior/exterior once the whole unit is completed.You should seal all areas where you are adjoining glass with aluminum pieces, glass with weather stripping, all jets, screws holes, hoses connected to unit, acrylic with control panel, acrylic with glass, acrylic with aluminum pieces, and base of unit with glass/acrylic top portion of unit.There may be more places depending on units in which you will see. Even though the units are pre-sealed from the factory, it is shipping from China and sometimes the seal is broken during the ocean freight due to humidity and heat within the containers.We suggest re-sealing these parts such as jets, hoses, screws, etc to make sure. Please test the units for leaks before finalizing the installation.We will not accept any returns/refunds after the unit has been assembled and/or used. If the customer needs a part, we will replace or repair the computerized part (does not included acrylic or glass pieces).
An access panel is recommended as in any steam shower unit or whirlpool that you purchase in the market. This allows for you to get access to the parts in case there is a faulty piece or if you need to replace the steam generator in the future.
